Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at this hotel in the heart of town, I found it to be a practical choice for active travelers like myself. We initially selected it due to its proximity to various restaurants and bars, as well as our previous experiences at the restaurant/bar. The room was modern and clean, offering solid amenities including air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, which added a touch of comfort to our stay. Breakfast was satisfactory with a decent selection of continental options, and the bar staff were efficient, though not particularly conversational. One notable aspect was the hotel’s flexibility—they stored our bikes securely in the downstairs area, which was a plus for us adventure enthusiasts. While we enjoyed the central location and found the updated bathroom reliable, we did face some limitations, like a lack of food service between 2 PM and 7 PM. the complimentary tea and coffee facilities were basic, but manageable. In terms of value versus luxury, this hotel offers essential comfort and functionality without breaking the bank—perfect for those more focused on exploring than lavish amenities. It’s a smart choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly base to enjoy the rich local culture.
